I had my first taste of Yoga in 2002, every time I came out of a yoga class, I became relaxed, calm and content both physically and mentally. I felt I can face any challenge coming my way.
In 2016, 18 months after breaking my water during my prenatal yoga practice, I have decided to embark on a journey to become a yoga teacher. Since then I have completed my Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa™ training with Dario Calvaruso, 200-hour alignment based Wildlotus Yoga training with Patrick Creelman and Rinat Perlman. Training with Tamer Begum, I am also a certified level 2 Anti-gravity™ Fitness Instructor who can teach both kids and adults alike. I am deeply grateful for the loving wisdom my teachers have shared with me.
I am now stronger, more flexible and more mindful, both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires me to be content in the moment. Learnt what “Opening to Grace” is – embracing new things/experiences/opportunities.
